Sunday, December 8th 10am - 2pm This course builds upon the foundation established in Reiki Level 1, taking students deeper into the art of energy healing. In Reiki Level 2, participants will learn advanced techniques for channeling and directing Reiki energy for healing themselves and others. Key topics include the introduction and application of Reiki symbols, distance healing (sending Reiki across time and space), and techniques for emotional and mental healing. Students will also enhance their intuitive skills, learning how to sense and clear energetic blockages in the body more effectively. Upon completion of Reiki Level 2, students will be attuned to a higher frequency of Reiki energy and equipped with tools to expand their healing practice. This level is ideal for those who want to deepen their connection to Reiki, offer professional healing sessions, or continue their personal healing journey. Prerequisite: Reiki Level 1 Duration: 4 hours (but typically 1-2 days) Certification: Reiki Level 2 Practitioner Instructor Bio: Desirae Carosi, BSN, LMT, is a dedicated licensed massage therapist and educator with a passion for elevating the field of massage therapy and expanding its benefits to broader communities. As the Director of Education and owner of the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy (CNWSMT), Desirae develops and teaches courses designed to support massage therapists at every stage of their careers. Her leadership extends beyond her school; she serves as secretary for the New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists (NYSSMMT) and as a member of the New York State Council of Massage Therapy Educators (NYSCMTE). In these roles, she actively works to increase awareness of massage therapy’s role in healthcare, particularly within underserved populations. Desirae’s work is instrumental in advocating for the profession. She collaborates with the New York State Education Department (NYSED), the Office of the Professions, and the NYSSMMT to ensure the highest standards for massage therapy education and practice. During the pandemic, she provided crucial support for massage therapy schools, working closely with the NYSCMTE to help them navigate changing health regulations and maintain compliance with the Department of Health and NYSED.
